How to play Spider Solitaire Card Game – Spider is one solitaire game that has grown in popularity over the years due to its inclusion with Microsoft windows. The game is a single-card player game played with two decks of cards.

The objective of the game is to build cards of descending suit sequence from King to Ace. When each sequence is completed, it is removed to the 8 foundations.  In order to win the game, players have to play all 104 cards to the 8 foundations (as separate 8 King to Ace sequences).

Spider solitaire game is usually played with two standards deck of cards, which usually makes the game difficult. To make it easier, you would need extra packs of cards.

What are the rules of Spider Solitaire Card Game?

  • The building is carried out on the tableau column without the foundations really participating in the game.
  • You can also move any exposed card from one end of the tableau to another end if it is in a descending sequence.
  • The packed descending sequence of cards can be moved in groups from one end of the tableau to another end if they are of the same suit.
  • If you don’t pack cards of the same suit, the game blocks quickly.
  • Empty tableau columns can be filled with any card or a packed descending suit of cards.
  • When you can’t make an effective move, you can simply click on the stock to deal another card to each of the tableau columns.
  • Before you can deal cards from the stocks, you must fill all empty spaces in the tableau. You may have to break up the sequence you have already packed to fill empty spaces on the tableau.

To play one Suit Spider Solitaire

  • Shuffle two decks of playing cards together
  • Then deal 10 piles of cards in horizontal lines.
  • To proceed, deal another set of cards, face-up on each of the 10 piles.
  • Then set the rest of the combined decks aside, face down. You can draw cards from this pile (stock) when you run out of moves on your tableau.
  • Then you have to build sequences of cards in descending order.
  • Then you can reveal face-down cards
  • When you run out of moves, you can simply use the stock.
  • After creating king-through-Aces sequences, you can set them aside face-up.

How to play Spider Solitaire Card Game with 2 Suits

  • Deal out your cards like you did the previous one
  • Then lump your cards by colors, you have to pack your cards in suits.
  • Then move clusters of the same color. You can only move cards if they are in the same color.
  • And you need to follow all the other rules of the game.

How to play Spider Solitaire Card Game with 4 Suits

  • You recognize suits for what they are.
  • And they need to be all of the same suit before you can clear all of King-To-Ace sequences.
  • Then you can move them in uniform clusters as long as they of the same suit.
